ACSA’s 2025-2026 tariff sheet prices long-term parking at OR Tambo in “Long Stay Bands” in Parkade MSP 2 (Level -1): R540 for up to 3 days, then R72 per 24 hours. ACSA long-term parking at OR Tambo: 2025-2026 tariffs

The tariff sheet lists the 4-day and 5-day bands at R72 a day, cheaper than the 0 to 3-day band. Confirm your total in the parking calculator or with the parking office on 011 921 6090 before relying on it. For pre-booked parking, the sheet lists a drive-in gate rate of R180 for 0 to 24 hours, then R180 per 12 hours. Booking at least 5 days in advance costs R72 for 0 to 24 hours, then R72 per 24 hours. The Parking Maps page says pre-booked parking is in the lower basement of Parkade 2 (North).
Short-stay parking rates at OR Tambo
The 2025-2026 sheet gives the basements and MSP 1 (Levels 3 and 4) the same short-stay scale: the first 30 minutes free, R30 (MSP 1) or R40 (basements) for up to an hour, R50 for 1 to 2 hours, R58 for 2 to 3 hours, R80 for 3 to 4 hours, R200 for 4 to 12 hours and R220 for 12 to 24 hours, then R110 per 12 hours. ACSA’s Parking Calculator page shows lower figures for Parkade 2 South, Levels 3 and 4 (the preferred drop-off area): R48, R55, R75, R190 and R210 for the same bands. The two official pages disagree, so check the rate at the boom or on 011 921 6090.
Picking up and dropping off
- Central pick-up, Parkade 2 South Level 2: 0 to 30 minutes free, R30 up to 60 minutes, R60 up to 120 minutes, then R60 an hour. ACSA says to use it for pick-ups only and does not recommend overnight parking there.
- Piazza (P7) pick-up zone: 0 to 20 minutes free, R30 for 21 to 40 minutes, R60 for 41 to 60 minutes, then R60 an hour.
- Lost ticket: R150 plus the parking charges, according to the Parking Maps page.
Which parkade is which
Near International Terminal A: P1 (basement, short stay) and P7 (open parking, pick-up, drop-off and Piazza). The P4 carports are reserved for staff and are not open to the public. Near Domestic Terminal B: P2 (Parkade 2 South), with short stay on levels 2 to 4, premium and XXL parking on level 2, valet parking on level 4, and car rental collection and returns on level 1. P3 (Parkade 2 North) has short stay on levels 0, 2, 3 and 4 and pre-booked parking in the lower basement. Shuttles use the Bus Terminus parkade.
ACSA publishes GPS coordinates for navigation: P1 basement S 26.130803, E 28.230812; MSP1 P2 (South) S 26.135138, E 28.229522; MSP2 P3 (North) S 26.132305, E 28.230491; and the Piazza (P7) S 26.136006, E 28.230349. Shuttle and coach operators pay separate bus deck tariffs: R30 for up to 10 minutes, R120 for 11 to 30 minutes, R150 for 31 to 45 minutes and R200 for 46 to 60 minutes, then R200 an hour.
