Hyper Pool Welkom is the Goldfields branch of the Hyper Pool Group, a Free State pool equipment wholesaler and retailer headquartered in Bloemfontein. The branch has its own landline and a branch-manager mailbox, published on the group’s branches page, which we read on 14 September 2026.

The branches page also lists a WhatsApp cellphone beside the branch manager’s name; we have treated that as a personal number and left it out. The group site’s own map places the shop at 438 Stateway, while some online listings give number 436.

What this organisation provides

The group sells pool pumps, filters, pool cleaners, heating, chlorine generators, LED pool lights, chemicals, fibreglass, marbelite, salt and filter sand. It also makes its own products, including Aqua King Storm solar-powered pool pumps, Eco Tanks splash pools and Aqua King Stone Inspirations cladding.

Hyper Pool Group brings together Riaan Pool, Hyper Pool Equipment and its manufacturing brands, and says it was built over more than 30 years by its family owners. Welkom is its only outlet in the Goldfields; other branches are in Bloemfontein, Bethlehem, Edenvale, Randburg, Pretoria, the Vaal Triangle and KwaZulu-Natal. The website has an online shop and a pool care guide.

The branch is on Stateway in Voorspoed. Trading hours are not published, so phone before you go, particularly on weekends. When asking about a replacement pump or filter part, have the make, model and a photo of the rating plate ready.
