The Perfume Co. Africa runs two separate websites, and they publish different telephone numbers and different addresses. Neither is a fake: both are live and both carry the brand. Which one you want depends on whether you are buying fragrance or signing up as a distributor, so both sets are given below.
Official contact channels
- Distributor side, published on perfumeco.africa: call or WhatsApp 072 354 1618
- Distributor sales enquiries: [email protected]
- Joining as a distributor: [email protected]
- Company side, published on theperfumecoafrica.com: 012 881 4479 or 017 110 0370
- Company email: [email protected]
Match the route to the question. An order, a return or a product query belongs with the company numbers, while anything about joining, member accounts or distributor stock belongs with the perfumeco.africa side. Sending a distributor question to the company switchboard, or the reverse, is the usual reason these go unanswered.
The 072 number is a mobile line offered for calls and WhatsApp, so a message is often the faster route there. The 012 and 017 numbers are landlines.
What this organisation provides
- Fragrances, described by the brand as luxury and designer inspired scents
- An online shop, with member login and ordering on the distributor site
- A distributor or member programme, joined through the Join Now route on perfumeco.africa
- Distribution to resellers from a hub in Rosebank
Designer inspired is a specific claim and worth reading carefully. It means a fragrance built to evoke a well known scent, not the branded original, so check exactly what you are buying before you order, particularly if you are buying stock to resell.
Address and operating information
- Distribution hub: Workshop 17, The Bank, 24 Cradock Avenue, Rosebank, Johannesburg, 2196
- Company office: Innovation Worx, Office D6, 16 Scale End Street, Half Way House Estate, Midrand
- Neither site publishes trading hours or a walk-in counter, so confirm before travelling to either address
Both addresses are shared or serviced office spaces rather than shopfronts. Arriving without an appointment is unlikely to get you served, so call first and ask whether collection is possible at the address you are considering.
Support and escalation routes
- Raise an order or product problem with the company first on 012 881 4479 or [email protected], and keep your order number
- Raise a distributor or member account problem on 072 354 1618 or [email protected]
- Unresolved consumer complaints: Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, 0860 000 272, free of charge
- Get the joining terms, the stock buy-back position and any minimum purchase in writing before you pay to become a distributor
That last point is the one that matters financially. Where a business asks you to buy stock in order to sell it, the terms on returns and unsold stock decide how much you can lose, and a verbal assurance is not something an ombud can act on later.
