“Sanlic” is the name of two unrelated organisations in South Africa, and neither is connected to Sanlam. Sanlic House of Locks is a lock, key and door hardware distributor, a division of Academy Brushware, with its head office in Kempton Park. SANLiC is the South African National Library and Information Consortium, a non-profit that buys e-resources for university libraries. This page lists both. What this organisation provides

Sanlic House of Locks says it has operated for 78 years and is one of the largest lock and hardware distributors in Southern Africa, with more than 5 000 products. It makes and distributes the Jaguar and Jaguar Pro ranges and sells keys and key-cutting machines, padlocks, safes and safe locks, and master-key systems. It supplies retailers, who can open trade accounts, and its Johannesburg branch serves customers in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique and Eswatini.

SANLiC represents 37 research and academic institutions in Southern Africa and negotiates agreements with more than 50 publishers, including read and publish agreements that cover open access publishing for member researchers.
