Sappi publishes no general email address for the Rosebank office. The routes it offers are the switchboard, the divisional mailboxes, and the product and general enquiry forms on its contact page.

Only two of these have their own number. Paper and Paper Packaging is four digits along from the switchboard, at 8115, and Forests is on 8445.
ReFibre is the odd one out. It is listed at the Rosebank address but answers on a Mpumalanga number, +27 13 741 3378, because the recovered paper business runs from the mills rather than from Johannesburg.
Several of the entries in Sappi’s directory name an individual next to the number. We publish the switchboard and the shared mailboxes instead, because those survive a staff change.
A postcode inconsistency
Most entries give the Rosebank postcode as 2196. The media relations and CSI entries give 2198, and abbreviate the street to 108 Oxford Rd.
It is the same building either way. If you are addressing post, 2196 is the code used on the head office, sales and divisional entries.

Forestry and research sit in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga rather than at head office, which is where the trees and the mills are.
Sales for South Africa and for the rest of central and southern Africa share one mailbox, run from Nairobi and Rosebank.

Saiccor at Umkomaas is the exception. Sappi lists no switchboard for it at all, so calls for that mill go through Rosebank.
Ngodwana is the only mill with a site mailbox rather than an individual’s address.
Before you call
Know which part of Sappi you need. It is a group of businesses, from dissolving wood pulp and packaging papers through forestry, recovered paper and biotech, and the switchboard routes on that answer.
For pulp, paper or packaging orders, use the product enquiry form rather than the switchboard. It asks for your company, country, job function and product segment, and reaches the right sales desk directly.
Sappi’s site lets you switch between country sites. Make sure you are on the South African pages, at sappi.com/en-za, before reading a number off it, because the same directory carries European and North American offices.
