Facility services
The mill is about 50 km from Mbombela and has operated continuously since 1966. It produces about 340,000 t of paper pulp, 255,000 t of dissolving wood pulp and 350,000 t of newsprint and kraft linerboard a year. Through Project GoCell, the mill entered the dissolving wood pulp market in 2013.
Ngodwana employs about 1,100 people and runs a 25 MW biomass renewable-energy plant.
