Sheet Street does not publish a WhatsApp number or a separate complaints line. On the store locator, some branches, such as Arcon Park in Vereeniging and Parkdene, show 0800 212 535 instead of a direct store number, so the customer care line is also the fallback when a store has no listed line.

What this organisation provides

Sheet Street is a homeware retailer selling bedding, curtains, towels, kitchenware, decor and kids’ bedroom items. It is a division of Mr Price Group, which lists it alongside Mr Price, Mr Price Home, Miladys and Yuppiechef on its contact page.

Online orders are delivered door to door. The FAQ gives 3 to 7 working days and R45 for central areas, and 5 to 8 working days at a location-based price for outlying areas. There is no express option and no delivery outside South Africa. Returns to a Sheet Street store are free, but online orders cannot be returned to Mr Price stores, and delivery costs are not refunded. Bring the delivery note or a printout from your profile as proof of purchase. Refunds take 5 to 7 working days to a credit card and 24 to 48 hours to a Sheet Street account.

Lay-by is in store only. You need to be 18 or older with an ID book, ID card or driver’s licence (foreign nationals need a passport), pay a 10% deposit, and settle the rest in three equal monthly payments with no interest or credit check. Everything except cellphones qualifies. If a payment is 14 days late the store cancels the lay-by, sends an SMS and returns the stock to the shelf, and you collect your refund in store.

The store account card can be used at Mr Price, Mr Price Home, Mr Price Sport, Sheet Street and Miladys stores. To link it to your online profile, choose “Link Account” and enter your 10 digit account number and ID number.

Address and operating information

Sheet Street does not give a head office address of its own. Mr Price Group’s corporate head office is at Upper Level, Durban Station Complex, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Stamford Hill, Durban 4001, switchboard +27 31 310 8000. Use it for corporate matters, not order tracking.

Each store page in the locator carries a note to confirm trading hours with the store. The George listing gives its address as “96 York Street Durban George, Western Cape”, so rely on the town and street rather than the word Durban. To track a parcel, enter the order number on the Track Your Parcel page or open “My Orders” in your profile.

Support and escalation routes

1. For a problem with a purchase or lay-by at a branch, ask the store manager and keep your till slip or lay-by agreement.
2. For online orders, call 0800 212 535 or email help@sheetstreet.com with your order number, as the FAQ asks.
3. If that does not settle it, use the Mr Price Group contact form and choose the Complaint department.
4. Unresolved complaints about goods can go to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud: 0860 000 272, WhatsApp 081 335 3005, info@cgso.org.za.
