Finding the Ngcobo Steers

Ngcobo was long written Engcobo and both spellings are still in circulation on maps, road signs and delivery apps. If a search returns nothing, try the other spelling, or search for the Astron Energy site on Elliot Road rather than for the restaurant. Elliot Road is the through route, so the forecourt is easy to reach without entering the town centre.

Ordering from the Ngcobo Steers

• A single forecourt kitchen serves the whole town, so peak times mean a real wait; phoning an order through beforehand on 047 548 1716 is the practical move
• Large or group orders need notice, particularly on a Friday or Saturday evening
• Ask what is actually available before ordering: a small outlet does not always carry the full national menu

Steers Ngcobo complaints

Steers outlets are franchised, so this store is owned and run by a local operator rather than by the brand. That means the store itself resolves an order problem, a refund or a quality complaint, and it needs the till slip to do so. Escalating to the national brand before giving the store a chance usually just routes you back to the same number.

If it is not resolved, contact the store on 047 548 1716 the same day, with the till slip and the time of the order. For a food hygiene concern, environmental health at Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality is the regulator for Ngcobo. For an unresolved consumer complaint, the National Consumer Commission handles complaints against suppliers.
