Waterberg TVET College is a public technical and vocational college in Limpopo. It is organised by subject centre rather than simply by town, so the number you need depends on what you are studying as much as on where you live.

This structure is the thing to understand before you phone. A business studies question goes to Mahwelereng, an engineering or trade question to Lebowakgomo and an IT question to Mokopane, regardless of which is nearest to you. Thabazimbi is the exception, being a campus rather than a subject centre.

The farm and hotel school are working training sites rather than classrooms, which is worth knowing if you are choosing between colleges. Agricultural and hospitality students do a substantial part of their programme on those sites rather than on the main campuses.

Friday closes two hours earlier than the rest of the week. That matters at registration time, when queues are long and a Friday afternoon trip will find the doors shut.

Read the published admissions policy before you appeal a rejected application. Colleges apply documented criteria, and an appeal that engages with the stated requirement gets further than one that simply asks for reconsideration.
