The reserve itself is open from 07:00 to 19:00 between September and February, and from 08:00 to 18:00 between March and August. Both are closed on 25 December.
Appointments and support
Buy your permit at the permit office on Dassenberg Drive before you head onto the dunes. The reserve is cashless and does not accept cash, so bring a card. For group visits, events in the hall or other questions, phone 021 400 6000 or email the reserve.
