Services and responsibilities
The Gauteng court serves the Lesedi sub district within Sedibeng, south east of Johannesburg. The Western Cape court serves the Hessequa sub district within the Garden Route, inland from Witsand. They share nothing but a name.

The Gauteng court is at 62 Begeman and Ueckerman Street, Heidelberg, 1438, with post to Private Bag H609. The Western Cape court is at 52 Van Riebeeck Street, Heidelberg, 6665, with post to Private Bag X13. The postal codes, 1438 and 6665, are the quickest way to tell them apart.
Applications and escalation
The Gauteng numbers are published as a range, 016 349 1930-3, meaning four consecutive lines, plus a separate line ending 6655. Neither court publishes an after hours domestic violence number.
