Springbok Magistrate Court is the main seat of the Namaqualand district in the Northern Cape and publishes four numbers. It also sits at Vioolsdrift on the Namibian border.
Official contact channels
- Court: 027 712 1215
- Alternatives: 027 712 2188, 027 712 2872 and 027 712 2874
Services and responsibilities
As a main seat the court administers others across Namaqualand, a very large and thinly populated district. Vioolsdrift as a place of sitting reflects the border post there, roughly 120 kilometres north of Springbok on the N7.
Office and address information
The court is at 1 Hof Street, Springbok, 8240, with post to Private Bag X3 at the same code. The department spells the district Namaqualana in its own record, missing a letter from Namaqualand.
Applications and escalation
Four numbers are published, none consecutive, so try each rather than assuming the next digit. Springbok Toyota is at 18 Tol Street in the same town on 027 712 2006, a number close enough to the court numbers to be worth checking before dialling.
