Mediclinic does not use the word casualty. Its units are called Emergency Centres, and each hospital publishes its own direct number rather than sharing a national casualty line. The number to dial depends entirely on which hospital you need.

What this organisation provides
The 084 124 number printed on every Mediclinic hospital page is ER24, the group emergency service. Mediclinic states plainly that calling it puts you through to a call taker who will ask for the nature of the emergency, your name and callback number, and the exact location with a nearby cross street or landmark. It dispatches an ambulance, so it is the number for an emergency happening away from a hospital, not a way to reach a particular Emergency Centre.
Address and operating information
Emergency Centres are staffed around the clock. Several hospitals list the same number for their switchboard and their Emergency Centre, which means there is no separate after hours line at those sites. Where a hospital is not listed above, its own page on mediclinic.co.za carries the number.
Support and escalation routes
A complaint about emergency care that the hospital does not resolve can be taken to the Office of Health Standards Compliance, the statutory body for complaints against health establishments in South Africa. Billing disputes are handled by the hospital rather than by ER24.
