HiFi Corp’s website does not publish a separate head office telephone number or complaints line. Its copyright line reads “PEPKOR TRADING LTD PTY T/A HiFiCorp”, and the only company address on the site is the group’s, in its newsletter privacy notice: Pepkor Holdings Limited, registration number 2017/221869/06, 36 Stellenberg Road, Parow Industria. Most HiFi Corp stores open at 09:00 on weekdays, with closing times from 17:00 to 21:00 depending on the mall, so check the Store Finder for a branch’s full hours. HiFi Corp also has stores in Namibia, Botswana and Eswatini, which have their own websites linked from the HiFi Corp footer.
HiFi Corp delivery, returns and refunds
- Delivery time: 2 to 5 working days anywhere in South Africa, Monday to Friday between 08h00 and 17h00, subject to payment and order confirmation before 12h00. Outlying areas can take up to 24 hours longer, and there are no weekend or public holiday deliveries.
- Delivery fees: free on orders over R500 (excluding TVs, large appliances, furniture, beds, large items and sports equipment); R75 under R500; R120 for TVs; R220 for large appliances, beds, inverters, generators and outdoor and sports equipment; R300 for large items, DIY and furniture.
- Damaged delivery: notify HiFi Corp within 24 hours on 0860 459 459 or hificorp@pl.co.za; it says it aims to collect the item and deliver a new one within 3 business days.
- Returns: online purchases can be returned or exchanged at any HiFi Corp store with the original receipt, in original packaging and condition. A handling fee of up to 15% may be charged if the product or packaging is not in its original condition.
- Refunds: at the store manager’s discretion after inspecting the item, paid to your credit card or bank account, and can take 10 to 30 days from when the goods are received.
HiFi Corp security notice and scam alert
HiFi Corp’s Data Security Incident page says that on 13 October 2025, Mobiz, a third-party provider Pepkor Lifestyle uses for marketing and statement messages, found that an unauthorised party had accessed one of its storage systems; the data involved was cellphone numbers and campaign message content. Pepkor says it notified the Information Regulator and will never ask for your password or banking details through its communication channel. Its Scam Alert page warns about fake websites imitating the brand, so check the web address is hificorp.co.za before paying.
