SPAR customer care and complaints
Call SPAR Customer Care on 0860 313 141, or use the contact form on spar.co.za. The form asks for your name, daytime contact number, email and region, and lets you choose Suggestion, Website Comment, Complaint or Other as the subject. For a product complaint, it has fields for the product name, barcode, best before date, batch number and store name, and for SPAR2U online orders it asks for your order number and date. Filling these in gives SPAR what it needs to trace the issue. SPAR says it uses the information to resolve your query, and if you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled, you can complain to the Information Regulator at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
SPAR Rewards and SPAR2U
For SPAR Rewards card queries, use the SPAR Rewards Customer Care form on spar.co.za. The same page links to registration guides for signing up your Rewards card through the SPAR app, the mobisite, a QR code, USSD or WhatsApp, which answer most registration questions without contacting SPAR. For an order placed on SPAR2U, SPAR’s online shopping service, use the contact form and include your SPAR2U order number and order date. SPAR’s website also lists in-store services such as money transfers, bill payments, prepaid airtime and electricity, bus tickets, Ticketpro tickets and digital gift cards; ask your store which of these it offers.
What time does SPAR close?
There is no single SPAR closing time, because hours differ from store to store, as the two stores below show. To check today’s hours, search for your store in the Store Finder on spar.co.za and open its store page, which lists weekday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday trading hours, or phone the store. Some store pages still carry an old note that hours differed during COVID-19 lockdown, so if the hours matter, call the store to confirm.
