Support and escalation routes
Before you call, Openview’s help pages suggest these fixes for common problems:
- No channels: disconnect the power and LNB cables, reinsert the LNB cable first and then the power, and wait for the decoder to reboot.
- If only channel 100 shows, reactivate the decoder: dial the number shown at the bottom right of the screen from a cellphone and enter your STB number.
- Still no signal: press HELP on the remote and check the levels. Signal strength and quality must be above 75%. You can also factory reset the decoder as the manual explains.
- If the dish needs aligning, call an installer from openview.co.za/installers.
Error E06 (“card is not authorised”) and error 20 (“channels not subscribed”) need a reactivation or the errors cleared. If these steps do not help, contact Customer Care on 086 169 6843 or WhatsApp 082 966 6429. Openview does not publish a separate escalation line.
