Calling Cell C customer care
Dial 135 from your Cell C number and choose option 9 to speak to an agent. The same line has a self-service menu: option 1 (Manage) for your balance, usage, statements, PUK code and international roaming, and option 2 (Support) for data and MMS settings or to follow up on a query you have already logged. Some self-service options need an active Cell C self-service PIN. If you are calling from another network, dial 084 135 instead; Cell C says those calls are charged at normal rates.
Cell C email address and online support
Cell C’s contact page does not list a customer care or customer service email address. Instead, use the “Write to us” form, where you choose whether you want a contract or have an issue, and select a reason such as account enquiries, contract, C-fibre, upgrades, prepaid, customer service or voice mailbox. The Cell C website also offers chat and self-service when you log in, and Cell C stores nationwide can help in person; find the nearest one with the store locator on cellc.co.za.

How to check your Cell C number
The FAQ pages we checked do not give a dedicated USSD code for displaying your own number. Log in to the Cell C app or self-service on cellc.co.za to view your account details, or ask an agent on 135 (option 9).
Contracts, upgrades and cancellations
For a new contract, an upgrade or a contract query, call 084 145. Cell C’s contact page does not list a separate contract cancellation number, so cancellation requests start on customer care (135 or 084 135) or the “Write to us” form, choosing Contract as the reason. Ask for a reference number and confirmation in writing. You can also check your upgrade date on the Cell C website.
Cell C accounts and SIM swaps
For account and invoice queries, Cell C’s FAQs point to self-service on cellc.co.za (My Account History and Invoices), the 135 self-service menu, or an agent on 135 option 9. To swap a SIM, use the 135 self-service menu with your self-service PIN, visit a Cell C store, or speak to an agent on 084 135 or 135; Cell C says to wait at least two hours before inserting the new SIM. Never share a PIN or one-time PIN with someone who contacts you claiming to be from Cell C.
Complaints
Log the complaint with Cell C on 135 or the “Write to us” form and keep the reference number; follow up through 135 option 2. If Cell C does not resolve it, the regulator is the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), which accepts consumer complaints at consumer@icasa.org.za once the operator has had a chance to respond.
