Outside those hours, FlySafair’s contact page says the call centre is closed and asks you to email help@flysafair.co.za or search its help library. Agents also answer on WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook and X from 7am to 7pm. On FlySafair’s contact page, the WhatsApp icon links to 072 940 4565, while the tap-to-call link printed under that number is malformed, so save and message the number rather than dialling the link.
Change or cancel a FlySafair booking online
- Change your flights: go to Manage My Booking, enter your booking reference and last name, tap Continue, then Change Flight and follow the steps.
- Cancel your booking: in Manage My Booking, enter your booking reference and last name, tap Continue, then Cancel Booking.
- Lost your booking confirmation: FlySafair says you do not need a copy to fly; your name and ID are enough to check in. Search your inbox for an email from noreply@flysafair.co.za, or the SMS with your booking reference if you chose SMS.
FlySafair’s help library covers the questions it gets most: identification needed for travel, changing flights and passenger names, add-on services, what to expect at the airport, luggage policy and allowances, what can be taken on board, cancellations and refunds (including its refund application), voluntary changes, online check-in, and children and infants.

Where FlySafair flies
FlySafair’s About Us page lists its destinations as Johannesburg (O.R. Tambo International, JNB, and Lanseria International, HLA), Cape Town International (CPT), King Shaka International in Durban (DUR), East London (ELS), Chief Dawid Stuurman International in Gqeberha (PLZ), George (GRJ), Bram Fischer International in Bloemfontein (BFN), Kruger Mpumalanga International in Mbombela (KMIA) and Hoedspruit International (HDS). Its international destinations are Mauritius (MRU), Zanzibar (ZNZ), Victoria Falls (VFA), Harare (HRE), Windhoek (WDH) and Lusaka (LUN). FlySafair points customers to its published Flight Schedule on flysafair.co.za for which days and times each route flies. Special assistance for passengers and bookings for unaccompanied minors aged 5 to 11 are arranged through the FlySafair website.
FlySafair head office and company
FlySafair’s Contact Us and About Us pages do not publish a head office street address or head office phone number; the published routes are the call centre, email, WhatsApp, social media and the airport ticket desks. FlySafair is the low-cost airline of Safair, an aviation company established in 1965 that also runs Lockheed Hercules C130 cargo flights and leases Boeing aircraft to other airlines. FlySafair began flying under its own pink and blue colours on 16 October 2014 with two aircraft between Johannesburg and Cape Town, and says it now operates 36 aircraft.
