Official Unitrans recruitment route
Unitrans says all vacancy applications must be submitted through its website and career portal. The careers page lets you search by location and role category, such as truck driver, general worker, artisan and bus driver. A data-light mobi-portal is offered for applicants who are data constrained. The old unitrans.co.za address now redirects to unitransafrica.com.
What you need before contacting
- You never pay for applications, background checks or assessments, and Unitrans never asks for a bank card or CVV.

- The Owner Driver Programme (South Africa only) requires a valid ultra heavy licence, clear credit and criminal records, and 5 or more years’ linehaul experience.
Step-by-step contact process
- Open the Unitrans careers page and search by location and role category.
