The Cabanas is one of the hotels at Sun City Resort, not a separate business, and Sun International publishes no telephone number for it individually. Every route below reaches it, and which one you use depends on what you want.

For a booking, go to central reservations or book online. For anything about a stay already in progress or a query about the resort itself, use the Sun City general enquiries number, which reaches somebody on site.
The international line is worth using if you are abroad rather than working through the local number, because Sun International asks for the guests country of origin on that route and rates and packages differ by market.
Which hotel you are actually booking
Sun City has four hotels and they sit at very different price points, so make sure the booking says the one you want. The resort publishes them as the Cabanas, Cascades, Sun City Hotel and The Palace, alongside Sun Vacation Club units at Lefika Villas, The Aviary and The Reserve. The Cabanas is the family end of that range and the closest to the water; The Palace is the five-star end.
One thing that matters more than the hotel choice: resort access. Guests at any of the hotels have access to the resort, but day visitors and Valley of Waves entry are ticketed separately, so confirm what your rate includes before you arrive with a car full of people.
Where it is
Sun City is in the North West province on the edge of Pilanesberg National Park, about two hours drive from Johannesburg. It opened in 1979. The combination is the practical selling point: it is the one resort within that distance of Johannesburg where a water park and a big-five reserve are on the same site.

Use the head office only for a corporate matter such as a formal complaint that the resort has not resolved, or a supplier approach. Sun International publishes separate procurement and careers sections on its own site, and those are the correct routes for each.
Booking safely
Book through Sun International own site or central reservations rather than through an unfamiliar third party offering a rate that looks too good. A resort of this size attracts fake booking pages and fake timeshare resale offers, and the sign is always the same: payment into a private account, and pressure to pay quickly.
