Toyota Financial Services finances Toyota vehicles in South Africa and neighbouring countries. It publishes different numbers by country, and its email address is on a different domain from Toyota’s main site. The contact details below were read from toyota.co.za on 2 September 2026.
Official contact channels
- South Africa: 0800 022 600 or 0800 139 111
- Namibia: +264 83 380 0174 (toll free) or +27 11 799 1640
- Botswana, Eswatini and Lesotho: +27 11 799 1655
- Finance applications (FutureDrive): 086 110 1745
- Email: [email protected]
The email domain is toyota-fssa.co.za, not toyota.co.za. That is not a typo and not a phishing address – the finance company runs its own domain. Anything sent to a toyota.co.za address about a finance account goes to the wrong company.
The two South African numbers are both toll-free and both published for the same purpose. The 086 number is for applying for finance, and it is a share-call rather than toll-free – it costs you something, unlike the 0800 lines.
What this organisation provides
TFS provides vehicle finance for personal and business customers. Its published products include FutureDrive, which lets you set a deposit, term and mileage with a balloon structure, and a conventional Instalment Sale Agreement. It also runs iContract and an online account login.
FutureDrive and an instalment sale are not the same deal. A mileage-linked, deposit-and-balloon structure keeps the monthly payment lower but leaves an amount owing at the end, and exceeding the agreed mileage has consequences. Ask for the total cost of credit and the final balloon figure in writing before signing, not just the monthly instalment.
Address and operating information
Toyota Financial Services publishes no street address on its contact pages – the phone lines, the service mailbox and the online account are the routes. Vehicles are sold through franchised Toyota dealers, which are separate businesses from the finance company.
The +27 11 799 numbers listed for Namibia, Botswana, Eswatini and Lesotho are South African landlines, so callers in those countries are dialling into South Africa unless they use the Namibian toll-free line.
Support and escalation routes
You can no longer switch from debit order to cash. TFS states it has stopped changing payment methods from debit order to cash, and that any change of payment method now requires a special arrangement – emailed to [email protected] and marked for the attention of the Admin Department. If you are heading into difficulty, raise it in writing early rather than simply cancelling the debit order, which is a breach of the agreement.
Mark written requests for the relevant department and keep your agreement number and the dates on every message.
A vehicle finance agreement is a credit agreement under the National Credit Act. The National Credit Regulator handles complaints about credit providers, reckless lending and the conduct of an agreement, and the National Financial Ombud Scheme resolves credit disputes free of charge. A registered debt counsellor can apply for debt review before judgment if repayments have become unmanageable – and doing so before a vehicle is repossessed matters, because the options narrow sharply afterwards.
A dispute about the vehicle itself, its sale or its repair goes to the dealer and then the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa, not to the finance company. A personal information complaint goes to the Information Regulator.
