AFDA runs five campuses and does not use a central switchboard. Each campus publishes its own landline, its own mobile number and its own mailbox, so contact goes directly to the campus you want.

What this organisation provides
AFDA teaches film, television, performance and the wider creative economy, offering degree programmes alongside short courses. Applications, enquiries and payments are handled per campus rather than centrally, which is why the mailbox you choose matters more here than at institutions with one national number.

Support and escalation routes
Each campus also publishes a mobile number alongside its landline: 060 897 0571 for Johannesburg, 079 731 4027 for Cape Town, 060 735 4986 for Durban, 076 102 6202 for Gqeberha and 079 043 6306 for Hatfield. These are campus lines rather than personal numbers, and are useful when a landline is not answered. Because each campus admits separately, an application query about one campus cannot usually be resolved by another.
