Support and escalation routes
Take a problem with a purchase, pricing or service to the store manager first, since the store is independently owned and is the party that can refund or replace. Escalate to SPAR customer care if the store does not resolve it. An unresolved consumer complaint about goods, pricing or refunds goes to the National Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, and a food safety or hygiene concern about a specific store goes to the environmental health department of the local municipality, which inspects food premises.
