Empact Group does not publish a separate human resources telephone number or recruitment mailbox. Everything to do with jobs, applications and employee queries runs either through its careers portal or through the single company mailbox, so this page sets out which route to use for which kind of request.
Official provider route
- Careers portal: empact.simplify.hr – the recruitment site Empact links from its own careers page. It lists current vacancies and has a Submit CV option for speculative applications
- Company mailbox: [email protected]
- Head office switchboard: 011 209 2400
- Empact also maintains a LinkedIn company page, which is where it posts new roles alongside the portal
Recruitment and employee support
Job applications are handled on the portal rather than by email. Sending a CV to the general mailbox is slower, because it is not a recruitment inbox.
- Applying for a role: search the vacancy list on the careers portal and apply against the specific reference. If nothing matches, use Submit CV so your details sit on file
- Application status: follow up through the portal account you created when applying, since the general mailbox cannot see applicant records
- Current employees with payroll, leave or contract queries: raise these with your site or contract manager first. Empact staff are deployed on client sites, so the site management chain is the working HR route, not the head office switchboard
- Former employees needing a certificate of service or UIF paperwork: request this in writing through the company mailbox and quote your employee number and last site
Eligibility and application requirements
- Empact Group states that it is an equal opportunity employer with an obligation to meet its own employment equity objectives, and that its employment strategy gives primary preference to previously disadvantaged individuals or groups
- Roles span the group divisions, which include catering and food services, cleaning and hygiene, pest control and facilities management
- Vacancies are posted for specific sites and contracts, so location matters as much as the job title when applying
Escalation route
- If an employment query gets no response through the site management chain, put it in writing to the company mailbox and keep a dated copy
- Unresolved disputes about dismissal, unfair labour practice or wages can be referred to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, using the contact details published on the CCMA website
- Complaints about basic conditions of employment or UIF go to the Department of Employment and Labour through your nearest labour centre
