Rubicon is a South African distributor of solar and energy storage equipment, electrical products, industrial automation and lighting, trading online at rubicon.tech. The group behind it is Symion Proprietary Limited, registration number 2014/239716/07, which owns the Rubicon and Symion trading companies plus the Apex, Synapse and Vectis product brands.
It is worth knowing up front how Rubicon handles contact: it publishes no branch telephone list, no department email addresses and no named sales contacts. Almost everything routes through web forms and through separate division sites.

Premises
The address Rubicon gives in its own PAIA manual, where the manual can be inspected, is 1B Hansen Close, Richmond Park, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7441. That is the group premises rather than a public trade counter, so do not arrive expecting a walk-in branch without arranging it first.
Division sites
Rubicon splits its catalogue across separate sites, and the enquiry route differs on each. Going to the right one first avoids being handed off.

A banking fraud warning on their own site
Rubicon carries a standing notice across rubicon.tech saying its banking details have not changed, and asking customers to treat with extreme caution any email, letter or phone call claiming otherwise. That warning is there because supplier payment redirection is one of the most common frauds against South African trade accounts. If you receive any notice of changed bank details, do not act on it, and confirm on a number you already had rather than one supplied in the message.
Complaints and escalation
- Start with the contact form on rubicon.tech, or the Tech Support and RMA form for a faulty or returned item
