West Coast TVET College, which brands itself West Coast College, is unusual among South African TVET colleges in how far apart its campuses are. Five campuses are spread over roughly two hundred kilometres of the Western Cape coast and interior, from Atlantis in the south to Vredendal in the north. Distance, not programme choice, is often the deciding factor here, and the college runs student transport pick-up points because of it.

Central office, Malmesbury

Campus telephone numbers

Note that the central office and the Malmesbury campus are two different addresses in the same town, on Loedolf Street and Church Street respectively. Administrative matters go to Loedolf Street; teaching and campus registration happen on Church Street.

Office hours across all campuses

The early Friday close is easy to miss and catches people driving in from out of town for an afternoon appointment.

Getting there

The college publishes a pick-up points and times page for student transport, which matters more here than at an urban college. Before you accept a place at a campus, work out the daily journey and check whether a pick-up point serves your town, because the nearest campus by map is not always the one your transport reaches. Vredendal to Malmesbury, for instance, is a long trip and the two campuses do not offer the same programmes.
