One thing that catches people out

Coloplast states plainly that its Surgical Urology products go through a distributor, not directly from Coloplast. If your query is about a surgical urology device — as opposed to ostomy, continence or wound care supplies — the answer sits with the distributor, and Coloplast South Africa will point you there rather than supply it. Ask which distributor holds the product before you go any further; it saves a loop.

Getting a product replaced

Keep the product code and the lot or batch number from the box; on ostomy and continence products they are printed on the outer carton and on the individual pouch or catheter wrapper. Coloplast cannot investigate a suspected defect without them, and a complaint with a batch number can be traced to a production run while one without it cannot.
