The liquor store is a separate shop
At each of the three, the liquor outlet is licensed separately from the main store and closes earlier on a Sunday. Turning up at 15:45 on a Sunday gets you into Makro but not into the liquor store. Public holiday hours are shorter again across the board, and every Makro is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Head office, for a complaint that has stalled
Makro head office is at 16 Peltier Drive, Sunninghill, Sandton, 2157, open 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and closed at weekends. Escalate there only after the 0860 line has given you a reference number, and quote that reference plus the store name.
