Consol Glass no longer answers on its own web address. On 6 September 2026 consol.co.za and consolglass.co.za both refused a TLS connection outright and returned a 502 Bad Gateway over plain HTTP, while the domain still carries live Mimecast mail records – the company is trading, the website is not. The contact table below therefore comes from Ardagh Group, which acquired Consol Glass in 2022 and now publishes the South African sites on its own group locations page as Ardagh Glass Packaging – Africa.

The head office and the Wadeville plant share a street but not a switchboard. Osborn Road on +27 11 874 0000 is the corporate office; Rossouw Road on +27 11 874 0400 is the furnace site. Ordering, quality queries and delivery questions belong with the plant that made the glass, not with head office.

These three are the retail counters, and they are the right call for small quantities – jars, bottles and closures bought by the box rather than by the pallet. A factory switchboard will normally send a small buyer to one of them anyway.
Reaching the group in writing
Ardagh publishes no e-mail address for the African business. Written contact goes through the form at ardaghgroup.com under Contact Us, which first asks you to pick the nature of the query – Sales, General, HR or Transportation – and then, for a sales query, asks which continent you are in. Choose Africa. Picking the wrong branch of that form is the usual reason a South African enquiry lands in a European inbox.
