Bosch Contact Details
Bosch in South Africa is not one contact centre. Robert Bosch (Pty) Ltd in Midrand is the group office, Bosch home appliances are sold and serviced by BSH Home Appliances, and Bosch power tools have their own repair centres. Calling the right unit first saves a transfer. Every detail below was read on Bosch’s own sites (bosch.africa, bosch-home.com/za, bosch-professional.com/za and bosch-diy.com/za) on 14 September 2026.

Bosch publishes two head office mailboxes. The South African contact page uses contactmailbox.rbsa@za.bosch.com, while the corporate information page lists Contact@za.bosch.com. Both are on Bosch’s own domain. Bosch’s Midrand location page also gives 011 651 9830 for enquiries, while its contact and corporate information pages give 011 651 9600; either reaches the Midrand office. No Bosch unit publishes a WhatsApp number, so treat any WhatsApp line offering Bosch repairs with caution.
What this organisation provides
Bosch has operated in South Africa since 1906. It reports more than 1,300 employees and over 20 locations in the country, including automotive component manufacturing in Brits and the Rexroth equipment overhaul hub in Kempton Park. The Midrand office is the contact point for mobility aftermarket, home comfort (heating and hot water) and power tools.
Most people searching for a Bosch service centre need the appliance side. BSH Home Appliances services Bosch fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and small appliances. Large appliances are serviced at your home through its service network, not carried in, so the 0860 026 724 line is how you book a technician. Have the E-Nr (model number) and FD (production code) from the appliance’s rating plate ready before you call.
Bosch Car Service is a network of independent workshops with its own booking system; see Bosch Car Service contact details. Western Cape heating and hot water products are handled by the distributor Trojan Trading, which Bosch lists on 086 100 5195. Do not use that number for appliance repairs.

- Robert Bosch (Pty) Ltd: 96 15th Road, Randjespark, Midrand. Postal: Private Bag X118, Halfway House 1685.
- BSH Customer Service Centre: Unit 4, 24-28 Archimedes Street, Wendywood, Kramerville, Johannesburg 2090. Monday to Friday, 08h30 to 16h00. The spare parts and accessories team lists Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 16h30.
- Bosch showrooms: 168 Bree Street, Cape Town, and 30 Archimedes Street, Kramerville, Sandton. Both open Monday to Friday 08h30 to 16h00 and Saturday 09h00 to 12h30. These are for seeing and buying appliances; Bosch directs service and repair queries to 0860 026 724.
- Power tool service centres: Monday to Friday. The Professional site gives 08:00 to 17:00 and the DIY site 08:00 to 16:30, so call before 16:30 to be safe.
The service centre and the Johannesburg showroom are separate buildings on the same street. Do not take a faulty appliance to the showroom.
Support and escalation routes
Check your warranty before you book. Bosch lists three years on freestanding appliances (parts and labour in year one, functional parts only in years two and three), five years on built-in appliances and one year carry-in on small appliances. Selected inverter fridges, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and food preparation appliances get a ten-year motor or compressor warranty if registered online within eight weeks of purchase. Keep your invoice: warranty service depends on it.
- Log the fault with the right Bosch unit (appliances on 0860 026 724, power tools with the nearest service centre) and write down the reference number.
- If the appliance came from a retailer and is still under the retailer’s return period, raise it with the store as well, with your slip.
- If the complaint is not resolved, take it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud on 0860 000 272, WhatsApp 081 335 3005 or info@cgso.org.za, with your reference number.
Genuine Bosch spare parts are sold through the spare parts shop on bosch-home.com/za, which Bosch says stocks parts for up to 15 years on large appliances and up to 10 years on small ones.
