Bosch Car Service does not publish a central phone line for bookings. Its South African website routes you to online forms: the Book a Service form and the Get a Quote form on boschcarsa.co.za, plus a workshop finder for locating a branch, after which the chosen workshop contacts you. The only chat channel is a WhatsApp button on boschcarsa.co.za that opens a chat with 060 016 5945. We read boschcarservice.com/za and boschcarsa.co.za on 16 September 2026.

ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not Bosch or a Bosch Car Service workshop, and we cannot book, quote or look up a job card.

Robert Bosch (Pty) Ltd, the company that runs the site+27 11 651 9600, Contact@za.bosch.com (imprint contact, not a booking desk)

The imprint lists Robert Bosch (Pty) Ltd at Fifteenth Road, Randjespark, Midrand, Private Bag X118, Halfway House, 1685. That is the Bosch company in South Africa, not a Bosch Car Service head office. Branch addresses appear in the booking form’s workshop list and in the finder. For Bosch appliances, power tools and the Midrand office, use our Bosch contact details page. The two Bosch sites disagree on the size of the network: boschcarservice.com says over 150 workshops, and boschcarsa.co.za says over 120.

What you need before contacting

  • Your name and a contact number: both are required on the booking form. An email address is optional.
  • A preferred date in day, month, year format.
  • The job: minor service, major service, inspection, air-con regas or service, mechanical repair or auto electrical.
  • Your car’s make, chosen from the list or “Other”.
  • Your town and the workshop you want, since the form sends the request to that workshop.
  • For the Discovery Insure discount: your ID or passport number and your vehicle registration or Vitality Drive card number. Bosch lists 5% for Blue, 7.5% Bronze, 10% Silver, 15% Gold and 20% Diamond status at participating workshops.
  • For a complaint: the workshop’s name and area, which the contact form asks for.

Step-by-step contact process

  1. Open the workshop finder, choose South Africa (Botswana, Namibia and Eswatini, listed as Swaziland, are also covered), enter your suburb, pick a search radius from 10 km to 400 km and search.
  2. If you want a price first, send the Get a Quote form. Bosch says its quotes carry no hidden costs or unexpected extras.
  3. Complete the Book a Service form, selecting your province, town and workshop. Bosch encourages online booking so the request reaches the workshop you picked.
  4. Deal with the workshop from there. Bosch states that no additional work is done without your prior consent, and its service promise commits to a detailed breakdown of work and time in advance.
  5. At collection, the service promise says the car is test driven before it is returned, a staff member explains the work and the invoice, and removed parts are kept for you to see.
  6. Keep the invoice. Bosch parts carry a 12-month warranty, workmanship is guaranteed for 6 months or 10,000 km, and batteries come with a 2-year warranty.

For diesel fuel injection component repairs, the booking page links to a separate Bosch Diesel Repairs route rather than the standard service form.

Escalation route

  1. Raise the problem with the workshop that did the work, with your invoice and warranty details.
  2. If it is not resolved, submit the Contact Us form on boschcarsa.co.za under “Customer Complaint”, naming the workshop and its area.
  3. Bosch says its workshops are RMI approved and members of MIWA, the independent workshop association. An unresolved motor repair dispute can go to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa on 010 590 8378 or info@miosa.co.za (Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30, Friday 08:30 to 16:00).

MIOSA warns that people have impersonated it on WhatsApp and says it does not ask for payment to handle a complaint or dispute.
