Fasta has no Cape Town branch, because Fasta has no branches at all. It is an online-only lender – its own site describes the application as entirely online, self-service and paperless. What it does have in Cape Town is its registered office, and a landline that appears on the National Credit Regulator’s register but nowhere on the company’s own website. Both read on 7 September 2026.

Fasta (Pty) Ltd

  • Telephone: 021 054 9530
  • Registered office: 5th Floor, Spaces V&A, Dock Road Junction, corner Stanley and Dock Road, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, 8001
  • NCR registration: NCRCP10591, registered 15 May 2018
  • Company registration: 2017/381321/07

The telephone number comes from the NCR register rather than from fasta.co.za, which publishes no number and no e-mail anywhere – only an online support section and a set of FAQs. That is worth knowing before you go looking: the absence of a number on the website is not an oversight, it is the model, and the regulator record is where one exists.

The V&A address is an office, not a counter

Spaces is a serviced-office provider, so the fifth-floor address is a registered and working address rather than a branch you can queue at. Arriving there with a loan query will not get you served. Use it for formal correspondence – a letter of demand, a legal notice, a written complaint you want on record – and use the online support route for anything to do with an application or a repayment.

Check the term on your own quote, not on the homepage

Fasta’s own pages do not agree on the repayment period. The homepage says you can apply online and repay over six months; the about page says loans run from R800 to R8 000 and repay in up to three months. The quote you are shown before you accept is the one that binds, and Fasta does display the total fees, interest and repayment on the slider before you apply. Read that total, not the marketing line, and screenshot it before you accept.

What a registered lender must still do

  • Fasta states that all applications are subject to affordability and credit checks, and NCRCP10591 makes that a legal duty rather than a courtesy. An instant decision does not remove the affordability assessment.
  • You need an RSA identity number, to be 18 or older, and three months of bank statements. A lender asking for less than that is not following the National Credit Act.
  • Complaints about a registered credit provider go free to the National Credit Regulator on 0860 627 627 or complaints@ncr.org.za.
