Payflex does not publish a telephone number. Support runs through a query form on its website, and it publishes support hours that include weekends and public holidays β€” unusual, and worth knowing before you go looking for a number that does not exist.

Official contact channels

Numbers circulating for Payflex on directory sites are not published by Payflex itself, and this page does not repeat them. The form and the help centre are the routes the business actually supports.

Payflex publishes a separate support route for merchants from the one for shoppers. Using the right one matters, because a merchant query about settlements is handled by a different team from a shopper query about an instalment.

What this organisation provides

Payflex is a buy-now-pay-later provider. It lets shoppers pay once off or split a purchase into two, three or four interest-free instalments at participating retailers, with the first instalment typically taken at checkout.

Because Payflex sits between the shopper and the retailer, contact often needs to go to the retailer rather than to Payflex. A question about the goods β€” delivery, a fault, a return β€” belongs to the shop. A question about the instalment schedule, a card, a refund reaching your account or your available spend belongs to Payflex.

Refunds are the most common source of confusion. A refund is initiated by the retailer and then processed back through Payflex, so the timing depends on both parties and the retailer has to act first.

Address and operating information

Payflex does not publish a physical address or a telephone number on its support page. The published hours apply to the query form and the support team behind it.

Weekend and public holiday cover is genuinely useful for a payments product, since purchases and failed instalments do not confine themselves to business days.

Support and escalation routes

Because there is no telephone route, response time depends on the queue behind the form rather than on hold time. Logging the query early in the published hours rather than near closing gives the best chance of resolution the same day.

Check the help centre before logging a query. Payflex organises its FAQ by account, cards, fees and limits, getting started, orders, payments and refunds, and most first-contact questions are answered there.

When logging a query, include the order number, the retailer’s name, the date and the amount. Without them the support team cannot identify the transaction, and the exchange takes an extra round trip.

Payflex extends credit, so its activity falls within South Africa’s consumer credit and consumer protection framework. Unresolved complaints about a credit arrangement can be taken to the National Credit Regulator, and retail disputes about the goods themselves to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
