Vodapay Contact Details

Verified 16 September 2026Official source onlyIndependent directoryReport a wrong number

VodaPay app users get help inside the app: VodaPay says its help and support runs 24/7 through TOBi in the VodaPay app, where you can chat to a consultant or ask for a call back. There is no separate VodaPay consumer phone number. To report fraud, VodaPay’s terms give a fraud line, 082 241 0016. Merchants with a VodaPay card machine use Vodacom Payment Services Support on 0800 000 654. These details were read on vodapay.vodacom.co.za, vodacom.co.za and vodacombusiness.co.za on 16 September 2026.

ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not VodaPay or Vodacom and cannot see a wallet, a transaction or a merchant account.

VodaPay does not publish a consumer support email address, and the old vodapaysupport@vodacom.co.za address is not on any VodaPay or Vodacom page. The “Call us” button on Vodacom’s VodaPay App Support page dials 082 17844, which Vodacom’s own contact page labels Sales and Upgrades, so it is not a VodaPay help line. Vodacom Business pages give two different merchant WhatsApp numbers, so we have not listed either.

What this organisation provides

VodaPay is Vodacom’s super app for payments, airtime and data, bills, prepaid electricity, subscriptions and rewards. The platform is jointly owned and run by Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd and Vodacom (Pty) Ltd, and the VodaPay site says it is powered by Bidvest Bank Ltd. Every new user gets a free Entry wallet. To load money and pay from the wallet you must upgrade to a Lite, Essential or Pro wallet; Lite is for South African citizens and permanent residents, while Essential and Pro are also open to foreign nationals. The wallet types differ in their transaction limits and cost nothing.

You can also link debit, cheque and credit cards from most South African banks. Vodacom says VodaPay is data-free for Vodacom customers and does not run on rooted or jailbroken phones. To reset a forgotten login PIN, tap “Forgot PIN?” on the login screen and confirm your identity with an OTP and security questions; you may need to link your cards again afterwards.

For businesses, VodaPay offers card machines such as the Max and Kwika, Tap on Phone, payment requests and an online payment gateway. Merchants see their transactions on the VodaPay merchant portal at vodapay.vodacom.co.za/merchant.

Address and operating information

Vodacom Payment Services gives its physical and postal address for notices as Corporate Park 082, Vodacom Boulevard, Vodavalley, Midrand, 1685. There is no walk-in VodaPay service desk. For help with the app itself, use TOBi.

Merchant support hours are published differently on two Vodacom Business pages. One says every day, public holidays included, from 07:00 to 19:00. The merchant portal article says Monday to Sunday 08:00 to 19:00, with after-hours emergency support. To change a trading or delivery address on the merchant portal, the portal itself says to contact the helpdesk on 0800 000 654 or vps@xlink.co.za.

Support and escalation routes

  1. Log the query or complaint with TOBi in the app and ask for a call back. Keep the date, amount and any transaction reference.
  2. If money left your account without your consent, call the fraud line on 082 241 0016 and tell the bank whose card was used. VodaPay’s terms make it your responsibility to notify your bank immediately of a security breach on a card.
  3. If VodaPay does not resolve the complaint, its terms say you may refer it in writing to the National Consumer Commission: +27 12 428 7000, complaints@thencc.org.za, PO Box 36628, Menlo Park, 0102.

The complaints email printed in VodaPay’s platform terms is spelt with the domain “vodcom.co.za”, which is not a Vodacom domain. Do not send documents to it. A purchase from a third-party merchant in the VodaPay mall is a dispute between you and that merchant, and VodaPay’s terms say it is not obliged to get involved. VodaPay’s terms also say you should never give an agent your full card number, expiry date, CVV or bank PIN.
