Two things to know before you go looking for a Beko number in South Africa. Beko publishes no South African telephone number or email address at all — support is a web form only. And beko.co.za is not Beko’s: the domain is parked and listed for sale on GoDaddy Auctions.
How to reach Beko in South Africa
- Support: the contact form on beko.com/za-en, under Support then Contact Us
- The South African form is served from the Sub-Saharan Africa support page
- No telephone number and no support mailbox are published for this country
The form asks what the issue is about and which product it relates to, then for your name, email, phone number and address, and then for the product model, product number, serial number, purchase date and retailer name, with an upload field for proof of purchase. Having all of that in front of you before you start is the difference between one submission and three.
What to gather first
- The model and serial numbers, from the rating plate. On a fridge it is usually inside the door; on a washing machine, around the door seal or on the back.
- Proof of purchase as a clear JPG or PNG under 5MB. The form will not accept a PDF.
- The retailer name and purchase date, because the warranty runs from purchase and the retailer is who a warranty repair is usually routed through.
The parked domain matters
A domain sitting on GoDaddy Auctions can be bought by anyone. If you find a site at beko.co.za offering Beko service bookings, spare parts or repairs, it is not Beko and there is nothing stopping it from being a front. The only address Beko itself uses for this country is beko.com with the za-en locale. Check the domain in the address bar before entering a serial number, an address or a card.
If the form gets you nowhere
Beko appliances in South Africa are sold through retailers, and the retailer carries obligations of its own under the Consumer Protection Act — a defect appearing within six months of delivery entitles you to a repair, replacement or refund at your election, from the supplier. Go back to the shop that sold it as well as to Beko, and keep the submission reference from the online form. The National Consumer Commission is the escalation if neither responds.
