easiPol is business management and policy administration software for the funeral industry, used by funeral parlours and burial societies in South Africa. The name is often mistaken for a payroll or insurance product; it is neither.
If you hold a funeral policy, easiPol is almost certainly not who you need. easiPol is the software your funeral parlour or society uses to administer members and policies. It does not hold your policy, take your premiums or pay your claim. For a claim, a premium query or a lapsed policy, contact the funeral parlour or society you signed up with, or the insurer underwriting the cover.
Official contact channels
- Telephone: 010 591 5588, published as +27 (0)10 591 5588.
- Email: [email protected]
- A contact form on easipol.co.za lets you route an enquiry to Sales or Support.
The mailbox is on the rubiblue.co.za domain rather than an easiPol one. That is not a mismatch: the site states that easiPol is powered by RubiBlue, the software company behind the product, and RubiBlue handles its enquiries. Mail sent there is going to the right place.
What this organisation provides
- Policy and membership administration for funeral parlours, burial societies and funeral policy schemes.
- Business management functions for funeral homes, covering the operational side of running a parlour rather than only the policy book.
- Support for existing users by telephone and email, plus training sessions and webinars.
- The product is web-based, so users log in through the site rather than installing local software.
The distinction that matters commercially: easiPol is sold to the business, not to the policyholder. If you are a parlour operator evaluating it, the Sales route above applies; if you are a member of a society whose policy is administered on it, you are not an easiPol customer at all.
Address and operating information
- 24 Peter Place, 1st Floor, Lyme Park, Sandton, 2060
- Peter Place is a business park area in Lyme Park, Sandton, so this is a corporate office rather than a walk-in service point.
- Operating hours are not published. Software support desks generally work weekday business hours.
Support and escalation routes
- Software faults and account issues go through the Support option on the contact form, or the number above. Quote your organisation name rather than a member number – the vendor supports the parlour, not individual policyholders.
- Funeral policy complaints – a declined claim, a policy that lapsed without notice, premiums deducted after cancellation – go to the funeral parlour or society first, then to the insurer underwriting the policy, and then to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900. The software vendor has no role in any of that.
- Funeral cover must be underwritten by a licensed insurer. If a parlour cannot tell you which insurer stands behind your policy, that is worth raising with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, which licenses insurers and their intermediaries.
