Leroy Merlin has no store in Cape Town. All six of its South African stores are in Gauteng. If you are in the Western Cape you can still buy – delivery is nationwide – but there is no branch to visit, no local number and no collection point. The details below were read from leroymerlin.co.za on 2 September 2026.

Local channels

010 493 8000 is a Gauteng number and it is the only telephone route Leroy Merlin publishes. There is no Cape Town line – any 021 number offered elsewhere as “Leroy Merlin Cape Town” does not come from the company.

Address

There is no Cape Town address. The six stores, with their published hours, are:

Stores generally open 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, though Sunday closing varies by store – Fourways closes at 16:00. Check the store page before travelling.

Services at this location

From Cape Town, the practical route is online: Leroy Merlin sells building materials, wood, electrical and plumbing, tools, kitchens, tiling and flooring, bathrooms, garden and landscaping, paint, decor and lighting, and delivers nationwide.

Two features on the site will not work for you, and it is better to know before you build a basket. “Available for store pickup” and “Pick up in Store” apply to the Gauteng stores only, so a Cape Town order must be a delivery. Check the delivery cost and lead time for your postcode before ordering, particularly on heavy or bulky items where freight across provinces is the larger part of the price.

Online quotations are handled per store, and each has its own mailbox: quotations.greenstone@, quotations.littlefalls@, quotations.boksburg@, quotations.fourways@ and [email protected]. Leroy Merlin lists no quotations address for Centurion – use the general contact address for that store.

Parent organisation

Leroy Merlin is an international home improvement retailer; its South African arm marked eight years of trading in 2026. Alongside its own stock it runs a marketplace where third-party sellers list products.

That distinction matters for a problem order: a marketplace item is sold by another business, which is why [email protected] is a separate address from orders@. Check which you bought before complaining.

Beyond the retailer, a consumer dispute falls under the Consumer Protection Act and can go to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission, both free of charge. Note that the CPA also gives you the right to cancel and return goods bought at a distance – relevant when you are buying unseen from another province. A personal information complaint goes to the Information Regulator.
