In South Africa, NFC is a car company. nfc.co.za belongs to No Finance Cars, a rent-to-own vehicle business with nine branches, and its customers use the initials as the name. If you arrived here looking for Near Field Communication – the tap-to-pay chip in a card or phone – that is a technology and has no contact number; take that question to your bank or your handset maker. Everything below is No Finance Cars, read from its own contact page on 6 September 2026.

Three of the nine are in Boksburg, which is where the head office and the in-house workshop sit. The company offers free labour on a first service and parts at cost price when the vehicle is serviced at the Boksburg workshop, so a service question from a Cape Town or Durban customer is worth asking about before assuming it applies.
No e-mail address is published
NFC prints branch telephone numbers and a call-back form, and nothing else – no branch mailbox, no head office mailbox. If you want a written record of an enquiry, use the enquiry form and keep your own copy of what you sent, because there is no address to copy yourself on.
What the company asks before it will talk to you
The enquiry form screens on three published criteria: that you are a South African citizen with a South African driver’s licence, that you have or can raise a minimum deposit of R12 500, and that your gross salary is more than R15 000 a month or, if self-employed, your turnover is at least R60 000 a month. Knowing those before you call saves a conversation.
Read the agreement for what it is
- The company describes the arrangement as rent-to-own with no interest and no financing. That is a rental, not a credit agreement, so ask in writing which Act your contract falls under before you sign – the protections differ.
- Ask what happens to the deposit and the instalments already paid if you hand the car back early, and get the answer in writing.
- Ask who the vehicle is registered to during the rental period and at what point ownership transfers to you.
