The mailbox is the office name at zutari.com, written as one word and in lower case, so the Cape Town office is [email protected] rather than [email protected]. That pattern holds across the network, which means you can reach an office that is not listed above once you know which office you want.
The other nine South African offices are Bloemfontein, East London, George, Mahikeng, Mbombela, Mthatha, Paarl, Polokwane and Rustenburg. Each has its own page on the company site carrying its own number and address. Note that the national South Africa page itself carries no telephone number at all, only a form and the office list, so going straight to the office page is faster.
What this organisation provides
The firm works across water resources and treatment, transport and mobility, energy and power, buildings, ground engineering, mining and industrial infrastructure, data centres, and urban and regional development. Much of its work is for public sector clients and utilities, which means a query about a specific project may belong with the client rather than with the engineer.
Address and operating information
The corporate head office is not in South Africa. It is registered at Level 2, Innovation Hub, Dubai International Financial Centre, United Arab Emirates, while the South African offices above remain the operating base for work in the country. Offices are named for their municipality rather than the suburb, so the Tshwane office is in Pretoria and the eThekwini office is in La Lucia Ridge outside Durban.
Support and escalation routes
Engineering in South Africa is a regulated profession. The Engineering Council of South Africa registers professional engineers, technologists and technicians, and only a registered person may take responsibility for certain categories of work. If your concern is the professional conduct or competence of an individual engineer rather than a commercial dispute with the firm, the council is the body that investigates it, and you will need the person name and registration number.
For a commercial dispute, go to the office that holds the appointment and quote the project name and appointment reference. Do not send it to a different office in the hope of escalating it, because each office runs its own projects and the receiving office will simply forward it.
