TUT Admission Office Pretoria Contact Details

Tshwane University of Technology does not publish a separate telephone number for an admissions office. Applications and admission queries run through the general university contacts, and TUT warns publicly that people posing as admissions agents are running scams.

Requirements

TUT states plainly that academic and accommodation spaces are not for sale, and that you should trust only information published on its own website, its official social media pages, or messages from official TUT email addresses. Anyone offering to secure a place or a residence room for a fee is not acting for the university.

Steps

Applications are made through the university online, and TUT publishes a step by step guideline for first-time applicants alongside programme closing dates, which differ by programme rather than running to one universal deadline. The university offers more than 300 programme options across seven faculties: Arts and Design, Economics and Finance, Engineering and the Built Environment, Humanities, Information and Communication Technology, Management Sciences, and Science, together with the Tshwane School for Business and Society. Each faculty publishes its own prospectus.

For a formal complaint the university runs an Ombuds Office, and it operates an independently run ethics hotline on 0800 006 924 for reporting misconduct, which is a separate service from admissions and not a route for an application query.
