The head office number is the main SANRAL contact number for corporate, national policy and tender-related enquiries. The Mobility Account Call Centre is the contact route for tags, registration and account queries. SANRAL does not publish a separate complaints line, so complaints can be directed through the Suggestion Box form on nra.co.za, the head office on 012 844 8000 or, when the issue concerns a tag or Mobility Account, 0800 726 725.

The corporate head office at 48 Tambotie Avenue is the national office. SANRAL also lists it as its “National” provincial office, so the same address and 012 844 8000 cover both roles.
The Gauteng provincial office handles the province’s national roads. For a query about a particular national road in Gauteng, use 012 426 6200. For a corporate matter, tender or national policy query, use the head office on 012 844 8000.
SANRAL e-toll contact number, login and balance check
The SANRAL e-toll contact number now used for Mobility Account and e-tag queries is 0800 726 725. Gauteng e-tolls have ended. The toll declaration was withdrawn with effect from 11 April 2024 at 23h59, and road users have not been charged for the e-toll network from 12 April 2024.
E-toll fees incurred before that date can still be paid at a SANRAL customer service touch point. SANRAL says it must collect money due to it until advised otherwise. In March 2019 the SANRAL Board decided it would no longer pursue criminal action against motorists with outstanding toll debt, and that decision still stands.
The old e-toll login is now the SANRAL Mobility Account at mobilityaccount.sanral.co.za and on the SANRAL Mobile App. Registered road users can use these services to see statements and invoices. The tag now functions as a payment method at conventional toll plazas and participating mall parking.
For a balance check, log in to the Mobility Account or app. Account holders are also notified of a low balance through their chosen channel, and the tag will not open the boom at a toll plaza without enough funds.

SANRAL e-tag registration and delivery
A Mobility Account can be opened online at mobilityaccount.sanral.co.za, on the SANRAL Mobile App for Android, iOS and Huawei, at a Self-Service Terminal, at a Customer Service Centre or at selected mainline toll plazas. A tag can be collected at a Customer Service Centre or delivered for R60.00 debited from the SANRAL account.
A delivered tag must be acknowledged on the Mobility Account or by calling 0800 726 725 before it activates. If a vehicle is already registered on another account, SANRAL says to email the vehicle registration certificate, not the licence disc, to info@mobilityaccount.sanral.co.za.
Account holders can top up on the app or website, at toll plazas and Self-Service Terminals, by EFT, at Pick n Pay, Checkers or Shoprite, at FNB note-accepting ATMs, or by debit order or credit card.

For people searching for SANRAL offices near me, Customer Service Centres remain open for Mobility and tag account holders. They are found in malls, along the Gauteng freeways and at most toll plaza offices nationally.
SANRAL lists Jet Park, Kliprivier, Grey Avenue, Golden Highway, BP North, BP South, Modderfontein, R21 North, R21 South, Rigel, Rivonia, 14th Avenue, Kolonade, Doornpoort East and Doornpoort West. The published information gives the centre names but no individual street addresses or telephone numbers for those centres, so use 0800 726 725 to find the nearest one.

SANRAL offices in Durban and KwaZulu-Natal
SANRAL lists no Durban office. Its KwaZulu-Natal office is at 58 van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg, 3201, telephone 033 392 8100, fax 033 386 6284.
SANRAL Southern Region, Nelspruit and other provincial offices
SANRAL’s contact page is organised by province as National, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Gauteng and Mpumalanga. It no longer uses a “Southern Region” label.
For the Eastern Cape, the Port Elizabeth office is on 041 398 3200, fax 041 398 3222. The Mpumalanga office in Nelspruit, also referred to as Mbombela, carries the mismatched telephone number described below. The Limpopo office is at 12 Dimitri Crescent, Platinum Park, Polokwane. For either Mpumalanga or Limpopo, use the head office on 012 844 8000.
Problems in SANRAL’s published office contact list
Four entries in SANRAL’s own office information do not match their locations or contain an apparent formatting problem. They are reported here as published rather than being silently corrected.
- The Northern Cape office in Kimberley is given the Western Cape office’s numbers, 021 957 4600 and fax 021 910 1966. A Kimberley office would use 053.
- The Mpumalanga office in Mbombela is given 041 398 3303, an Eastern Cape code, and its fax field is blank. The address also carries leftover editor text reading “Normal 14 Font”.
- The Limpopo office in Polokwane is given the Gauteng office’s number, 012 426 6200, and the Gauteng postal address.
- Under metro roads, the Cape Town number is printed as “021 418 683o”, ending in the letter o rather than a digit, so it cannot be dialled as written.
The Pretoria entries are not among these faults. 012 844 8000 and 012 426 6200 both carry Pretoria codes and match their published addresses.

SANRAL does not publish a separate complaints line. The available routes on this page are the Suggestion Box form on nra.co.za, which asks the user to choose a province, the head office on 012 844 8000, or the Mobility Account Call Centre on 0800 726 725 for tag and Mobility Account issues.
The transformation email uses sanral.co.za even though SANRAL’s public website does not. The domain works for mail and not for browsing.
SANRAL toll roads and concessionaire contact numbers
A toll plaza or toll-bill query is not always handled by SANRAL directly. Three stretches are run by concessionaires, and two of them start in Pretoria.

SANRAL itself runs the N1 toll road between Gauteng and Bloemfontein, the N17, the N2 South, the N4 at Pelindaba, the Tsitsikamma toll road and the Huguenot Tunnel.
Bakwena’s own customer care line is published as “0800 2259362”, run together without spacing. The landline alongside it is the safer one to dial.
SANRAL website and Mobility Account website
SANRAL’s public website is at nra.co.za rather than sanral.co.za. The sanral.co.za address resolves and carries the agency’s email domain, but it does not load a website. The Mobility Account service runs separately at mobilityaccount.sanral.co.za.
On nra.co.za, SANRAL’s contact page uses the “contact information” path. A plain “contact us” address on the same site returns a 404, so guessing that path does not reach the contact page.

SANRAL stands for the South African National Roads Agency (SOC) Limited. It is a government entity that must follow the Public Finance Management Act and looks after South Africa’s national roads.
