Eligibility, account or policy requirements
- A 6-month waiting period applies, except for accidental death, which has no waiting period.
- Suicide in the first 12 months after inception is excluded.
- If a premium is not paid, you get a notice within 15 days. The policy is cancelled if arrears are not paid within 31 days; claims are allowed during those periods.
- Premiums keep being deducted until you cancel the policy yourself.
