Vodacom sells its life insurance as VodaSure | Life Cover, underwritten by Vodacom Life Assurance company (RF) Limited and distributed by CCI SA Financial Service (Pty) Ltd, an authorised financial services provider.

Official VodaSure Life Cover route
Call 082 124 for policy queries, to increase your cover or to update your beneficiaries. To change your policy, press option 3 and a consultant will guide you through the process. The life cover call centre is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00.
You can apply by calling 082 124 or through the VodaPay app.
Claims and policy support
Beneficiaries claim in three steps:
- Call 082 124 or email lifeclaims@vodacom.co.za. Claim documents can also be faxed to 011 546 8444. The claims call centre is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.
- A claims consultant guides you through the documents you need.
- You receive the payout.
Vodacom says an immediate R50,000 payout helps the family with funeral costs, and the rest is settled after the claims process. If no beneficiaries are nominated, the payout goes to the estate, so keep your beneficiaries up to date by calling 082 124.
To cancel, send a written request by email to lifecustomercare@vodacom.co.za, by fax to 011 546 8446, or by post to Private Bag X9904, Sandton, 2146. Cover ends on the last day of the month you have paid for.
Eligibility, account or policy requirements
- You need a valid South African ID and must be aged 18 to 60.
- You do not have to be a Vodacom subscriber.
- Vodacom advertises cover from R92* per month for up to R1.5 million, with no medical exams or blood tests.
- There is a three-month waiting period for death from natural causes.
- An optional cash back pays 20% of premiums back after 5 years of cover.
