AutoZone FAQs: payments, refunds and licence discs
- Online payment options: Pay Just Now, Payflex (spelt “Payfex” in the FAQ), Mobicred and credit card (through Peach Payments). Pay Just Now works for online purchases.
- Refunds on Pay Just Now purchases: refunds go back the same way you paid, not in cash at a branch; the branch sends the paperwork to the Contact Centre.
- VIP card: not yet usable for online purchases, and loyalty points for Pay Just Now are under development. Deposits credited back to a VIP card can still be paid out in cash on request.
- Licence disc renewals: AutoZone offers the service through Disky; the FAQ gives Disky’s WhatsApp as 021 518 1008.
About AutoZone
AutoZone sells car parts, accessories and spares in South Africa, Namibia, Eswatini and Botswana, to car owners, mechanics and retailers. It describes itself as South Africa’s largest automotive retailer and says it is backed by Metair Investments Limited. Its stores stock brake pads, shocks, filters, motor oils and tyres, and offer battery testing, licence disc renewals and free expert advice. AutoZone’s motto is “Your Ride, Our Passion”. House brands include AutoKraft, TomiHawk, FEMO, AFO, Tackies and Elpar. Trade customers have a separate B2B trade portal on the website.
