Official Makro online support route

The contact centre is open Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, and on Sundays and public holidays from 09:00 to 16:00. It is closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and open until 14:00 on the Day of Goodwill. The online store itself is open 24/7.

Have your order details from the Orders tab on your profile. Orders older than 6 months sit under past orders in My orders. For a return, keep your proof of purchase and the original packaging with all accessories.
Items damaged on delivery or unsuitable must be logged for return within 14 days. Delivery costs are not refunded, and a collection fee may apply after 2 failed collection attempts.
Step-by-step contact process
- Check the Orders tab on your profile. Orders older than 6 months are under past orders in My orders.
- Check whether the order was split, or whether items were cancelled for stock or technical reasons.
- If it is still unresolved, WhatsApp 060 019 7747, call 0860 600 999 or email makroOnline.support@makro.co.za.
- For a return, log it in the My Orders section of your profile and Makro will collect the product.
- Makro assesses the item, then refunds or exchanges it within 3 to 5 business days, or repairs it within 21 business days. Refunds can take up to 14 days to reflect.
Escalation route
Makro does not publish a separate escalation line for online orders. Use the WhatsApp line, the contact centre or the online support mailbox, and keep your order number and a record of each contact. Makro Credit and the store card are powered by RCS, NCRCP 38, FSP 44481.
