Makro Durban Contact Details

Verified 6 September 2026Official source onlyIndependent directoryPublished by Silas T Nkoana, Cape TownReport a wrong number

There are three Makro stores in and around Durban, and none of them has its own telephone number. Makro publishes one contact set for every store in the country, so the difference between the Durban stores is address and trading hours, not who answers the phone.

The number is the same wherever you shop

Anyone quoting you a direct landline for a Durban Makro store did not get it from Makro. If a store-specific question needs a store-specific answer — is this item on the shelf right now — say the store name at the start of the call or the WhatsApp message, because the agent has no way of knowing which one you mean.

Makro Springfield

  • Address: 90 Electron Road, Umgeni Business Park, Durban, 4001
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00; Saturday 08:00 to 17:00; Sunday 09:00 to 16:00
  • Makro Liquor Springfield is at the same address but keeps different Sunday hours: 10:00 to 15:30

Makro Cornubia

  • Address: Umganu Road, Flanders, Blackburn, 4319 — the northern corridor towards Umhlanga and Ballito
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00; Saturday 08:00 to 17:00; Sunday 09:00 to 16:00
  • Makro Liquor Cornubia is at the same address, Sunday 10:00 to 15:30

Makro Amanzimtoti

  • Address: 12 Arbour Road, Umbogintwini, eManzimtoti, 4126 — the South Coast side
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00; Saturday 08:00 to 17:00; Sunday 09:00 to 16:00
  • Makro Liquor Amanzimtoti is at the same address, Sunday 10:00 to 15:30

The liquor store is a separate shop

At each of the three, the liquor outlet is licensed separately from the main store and closes earlier on a Sunday. Turning up at 15:45 on a Sunday gets you into Makro but not into the liquor store. Public holiday hours are shorter again across the board, and every Makro is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Head office, for a complaint that has stalled

Makro head office is at 16 Peltier Drive, Sunninghill, Sandton, 2157, open 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and closed at weekends. Escalate there only after the 0860 line has given you a reference number, and quote that reference plus the store name.

Before you drive

  • Makro is a wholesaler; some pricing and pack sizes assume a trade account, so check whether a deal needs one.
  • Online orders are fulfilled from a specific store — if collection matters, check which one before you pay.
  • For a warranty or return, bring the till slip and the original packaging; a card statement is not proof of purchase of a particular item.
