Safari Centre has no single national contact number. It is a network of roughly eighteen branches and fitment centres, and each one is contacted directly. The branch list is on safaricentre.co.za.
ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory and is not Safari Centre.
Safari Centre is not Safari Outdoor
This is the mistake to avoid first. Safari Centre and Safari Outdoor are different retailers in the same market, both selling 4×4, camping and outdoor equipment, both with branch networks and similar names.
Check which one your order, quote or warranty document names before you call. A store cannot help with another chain’s sale, and a warranty claim goes to the retailer that sold the item.
Where the branches are
The published branch list covers, among others: Alberton, Bloemfontein, Boksburg, Cape Town, Centurion, Durban, Kimberley, Klerksdorp, Menlyn, Middelburg, Mokopane, Mossel Bay, Nelspruit, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, Port Shepstone, Pretoria, Somerset West, Upington, Welkom and Witbank.
Mokopane appears as Pietersburg in some listings, an older name for the Limpopo region’s towns, so search under both if a branch seems missing.
Fitment is the part that needs the right branch
This is a 4×4 accessory and fitment business as much as a shop, and that changes what you should ask.
- Not every branch fits every product. Canopies, long range tanks, suspension and dual battery systems need workshop capacity and a booking. Ask before driving there.
- Ask whether the fitment is warranted separately from the part. A defective installation and a defective product are different claims with different remedies.
- Ask what a fitment does to your vehicle’s warranty, particularly for suspension, electrical and engine related accessories. Get the answer in writing from the dealership, not only from the fitter.
- Keep the invoice showing the branch, date and the part number. Warranty claims turn on it.

Frequently asked questions
What is Safari Centre’s head office number?
No single national number is published. Contact the branch directly using the list on safaricentre.co.za.
Is Safari Centre the same as Safari Outdoor?
No. They are separate retailers in the same market. Check which name is on your invoice or warranty.
Can any branch fit an accessory?
Not necessarily. Fitment needs workshop capacity and a booking, so confirm with the specific branch first.
