Returning items to Woolworths
Woolworths’ Returns and Refunds FAQ says in-store purchases can be refunded or exchanged within 60 days, with the original tax invoice and the items in their original condition; the original packaging is not required. If you do not have your till slip and the store cannot recall the transaction through your loyalty card, Woolworths refunds at the current system price on a refund card. An original proof of purchase is always needed for items with a guarantee of 12 months or longer, such as cellphones and small appliances. For hygiene reasons, opened pierced earrings, underwear (excluding bras and underwear tops), opened branded beauty products and some opened baby items cannot be returned, and airtime and gift cards are not refundable. Clearance sale items can be returned within 10 days of the final reduction date.
