Pick n Pay Stores Limited is a JSE-listed South African grocery retailer operating the Pick n Pay and Boxer chains. The contact details below were read from the Pick n Pay Group contact page on 31 August 2026.
Official contact channels
- Customer care line: 0860 30 30 30 (+27 860 30 30 30)
- Customer care email: [email protected]
- Online shopping support: the same 0860 30 30 30 line
- Boxer customer care: 0860 02 69 37, [email protected]
- Switchboard: +27 21 658 1000
- Company secretary: [email protected]
There is no separate number for online orders – groceries bought on pnp.co.za and goods bought in a store are handled by the same 0860 line, so quote your order number up front to route the call.
Boxer is a different call centre. Boxer trades under the same group but keeps its own care line and mailbox, and a Boxer query raised with Pick n Pay will not be actioned.
What this organisation provides
Pick n Pay runs supermarkets, hypermarkets, liquor stores and clothing stores nationwide alongside online grocery shopping and the Smart Shopper loyalty programme, with Boxer serving the discount grocery segment.
Several enquiries have dedicated mailboxes and go nowhere if sent to customer care:
- Small business and supplier development: [email protected]
- Offering a product to Pick n Pay: [email protected]
- Sponsorship or donation requests: [email protected], using the donations request form
Job seekers should not email or drop off a CV. Pick n Pay states that entry-level applications for corporate stores are made only by registering on the data-free SA Youth Partner Network at sayouth.mobi/Join, searching for Pick n Pay and applying there.
Address and operating information
Registered office: Pick n Pay Office Park, 101 Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth, Cape Town, 7708.
Postal address: PO Box 23087, Claremont, 7735.
Head office is in Cape Town rather than Johannesburg, which surprises people who assume otherwise when sending legal or formal correspondence. Pick n Pay does not publish customer care operating hours; store trading hours vary by branch and are listed in the store locator.
Support and escalation routes
Raise a store or product issue with the branch manager first, then 0860 30 30 30 or [email protected] with the till slip or order number. Keep the reference number – it is what a follow-up call is traced against.
For fraud, theft or unethical conduct there is an independently run whistleblower line operated by Deloitte Tip-offs Anonymous rather than by Pick n Pay:
- Toll-free: 0800 772 759
- From outside South Africa: +27 31 571 5301
- Email: [email protected]
- SMS: send Tip-Offs to 32480 for a call back
- Free post: Deloitte Tip-offs Anonymous, Free post, KZN 138, Umhlanga Rocks, 4320
A consumer complaint that customer care does not resolve can be taken to the National Consumer Commission. Food safety and hygiene concerns go to the environmental health department of the local municipality, which inspects retail premises, not to the retailer.
