asap! runs inside the Pick n Pay app, which is on the App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery; the “asap! Grocery” section at the bottom of the app’s screen is where you place orders. Pick n Pay says old asap! promo codes do not work on the new app, you can use only one promo code per checkout, and existing asap! customers must re-add their card details. To earn Smart Shopper points on asap! orders, link your Smart Shopper card number in the app.

Pick n Pay asap! WhatsApp number
Pick n Pay does not publish a WhatsApp line for asap! orders. The only WhatsApp number in its help pages is the Smart Shopper points line, 060 070 3037 (send “Hi”). For asap! order help, use in-app Customer Service Chat, call 0860 99 67 27 or email asapgrocery@pnp.co.za.
Pick n Pay asap! login, password and wrong email address
- Log in: open the Pick n Pay app and sign in with your email address and password, or choose Continue via Smart Shopper and enter your ID or passport number and the OTP sent to your registered cellphone.
- Forgot password: tap Forgot Password on the login screen, enter your email address and follow the reset link.
- Wrong email address or mobile number: go to Profile, then Account details (or Edit profile), update the detail and verify it with the OTP sent to the new email address or number.
- No access to your old email or number: if you cannot complete the OTP verification, contact Customer Service on 0860 99 67 27 for assisted verification and update.
How to cancel a Pick n Pay asap! order
Pick n Pay’s FAQs do not describe a self-service cancel button. To cancel an asap! order, use the Help button on the order, Customer Service Chat in the app, call 0860 99 67 27 or email asapgrocery@pnp.co.za.
- If you cancel before picking has started, the transaction is voided and no refund is needed. You were not charged, and your bank releases the reserved funds.
- If the order is cancelled after shopping, the refund goes back to your original payment method in 3 to 5 business days.
- Pick n Pay may cancel an order itself after unsuccessful delivery attempts or operational problems.
Missing orders, refunds and the Wallet
- Where is my order? Follow it on the order tracking screen, and once it is on its way, open Track Driver to see the driver on a map. Pick n Pay says a large order may come with two drivers so it is not delayed waiting for a bigger vehicle.
- Marked delivered but not received: use the in-app help, call 0860 99 67 27 or email asapgrocery@pnp.co.za.
- Damaged, missing or expired items: go to My Orders, then Past Orders, and choose a refund reason, or use the order’s Help button with your order number.
- Refunds: in the app, go to My Orders, pick the order under Past Orders, choose a refund reason and submit. Review usually takes 24 to 48 hours; an approved card refund typically reflects in 3 to 5 business days. Check the status under Profile, Refunds.
- Payments: the app takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, plus Smart Shopper Rands and the Wallet balance if you opted in. Pick n Pay reserves the estimated amount when you order and charges only for items you receive once the order is packed.
- How to change payment method on asap!: at checkout, go to Pay with, then Payment methods. Pay now redirects you to add a new card.
- Wallet: an optional in-app balance, switched off by default. If you choose it, eligible refunds and adjustments for unavailable items go into the Wallet immediately, and you can spend the balance in the app or in store.

Bottles app data breach notice
Pick n Pay’s FAQs say a 2022 dataset from the old Bottles app, the platform that became Pick n Pay asap!, has been found online, and that an independent cybersecurity firm is investigating. It says the data may include names, email addresses, mobile numbers, dates of birth, delivery addresses, the last four digits and expiry date of payment cards, and passwords in protected form, but not full card numbers or CVVs. Pick n Pay says affected customers will be contacted directly by email, and that if you do not hear from it, your data was not included.
